It was almost the perfect Christmas…

The only down side to this Christmas
The only part that has sucked
Was not waking up so sick I could hardly move
Or having to kick my family out so I could nap Christmas Eve
Almost dropping my niece due to vertigo
Not being able to hug Rueben when he hung up the phone
Not the 20 min text message fight with Geoff because I don’t want to date him
The 2 day debate about reopening the case against nick
Waking up alone Christmas morning while everyone I loved opened gifts
Not the fact that my family got together without inviting me
That I had to call and ask if I could come
None of that is what sucked about this Christmas
The only thing that sucked this Christmas was not being able to say “I love you” when you called me this morning
