In the blink of an eye I know where I stand.
I'm reminded by a pull that takes my hand
Plunging me deep into these neutral waters
No parents would wish on their sons or daughters.
Like a rubber band I'm ready to snap,
Thoroughly entrenched in this narrow trap
Where plusses and minuses cancel out
Creating much unrest to come about;
A loathsome limbo to accent my days
As I try to make sense of my wild ways.
