As another year at last unravels
That you would be safe throughout your travels,
Nimbly navigating each back road
Before you may unburden your load.
That you would keep faith for each dream inside your heart,
Never losing the fires that gave them their start -
Let that spirit show to all you know
So they might experience its glow.
May you know joy and prosperity, not pain or sorrow,
Always living for the day with a look toward tomorrow,
Laying down arms in perfect surrender
So you can see life in all its splendor.
May the harmful voices ebb down to a hum
As your angels enclose you tight as a drum,
Letting you know you are loved.
It is far from absurd. It could all come true,
Therefore this shall be My Christmas Wish for You.
