Truth is.. I am afraid.
Afraid of the past,
the present,
the future,
change,
and life.

I am afraid of the past
The lost opportunities,
what could have been,
and, what if.

I am afraid of the present.
Here and gone in a flash.
Hoping its done right,
to make life last.

I am afraid of the future.
The future is full of never knowing,
Always wondering,
unsure and unclear.

I am afraid of change.
Hoping it will all work out .
hoping I picked the right choices,
and making sacrifices.

I am afraid of life.
Living it,
and being let down.
Holding still,
and missing everything.
.....I am afraid.....
