Being homeless in
The Winter
On this park bench
Or even behind this store
In...
This frigid cold
Air
Chews at my bones
Sending the shivers
All down my spine
I curl my body
To keep what little
Heat I have
But it seems not
Enough
As the bitter chill
Envelopes my whole
Body
My lips turn
A nice deep shade
Of purple
As my teeth
Chatter away
I can feel my body
Shaking
The winter cold
Has come
And the homless
Must find shelter
Or die frozen
Where they
Lay
Intense
Intense
