I can stay this way not knowing

And I can’t be sure you are too
It feels like you don’t want me with you
I promised forever and I meant just what I said
I’m not a fan of letting this end
I want forever and I’ll fight for this love
But if you don’t want it I’ll just give up
I’ll go forever if you tell me to leave
But I won’t go until you make me
I’m holding on until the bitter end
I won’t let go until there’s nothing to grip
I want to hold you, to make you feel safe
I don’t want a reason to walk away
Be faithful and honest
Loyal and true

I just want
A girl who chooses to be with me and no one else.
Someone who calls just for the hell of it
Who brags about me to everyone she knows

Is that too much to ask?

I'm not sure you can have it both ways without a lot of drama, roc. girls want the same thing guys want. security in relationships takes nurturing, and nurturing takes structure. it doesn't come easy all the time, and in fact it doesn't come easy more times than not. you sound like you aren't finished being young yet to me. i could be wrong.

Well, it's like I told
Well, it's like I told healingwoman one day... 'trust' with what? there are some men who expect a woman to violate moral standards and place herself and her very soul, heart, integrity, on the line for the sake of 'trust'...taking risks is not what men of value allow their true and loyal love to participte in. Men of value are men who would never place love in harms way or allow danger or even a chance of it to a true love's honor. There are those women, much like you describe you want, who do not bend for this type of 'trust' and why there are so few. Men snatch them up like precious gems found on the shoreline...to treasure as they should be treasured and cared for.
My fiance' bought me a t shirt with the words...'a good girl is hard to find'...alas he was lucky, as he did not have to search for me. we found each other through the the stars one night...me at home on my computer...him in the darkest of dark places, reaching out into the universe.

As you can probably tell
From most of my writing, i value and treasure every moment, and that I've compromised and been wronged repeatedly. In all honest, i just want someone i xan trust. And by risk, i only mean take a chance and see where we could go. A little loyalty would be nice, the fidelity kind, that is. I may be a bit puritanical when it comes to love but i've been overly flexible in the past, and been burned by it... so i want someone won't compromise herself or expect me to.

Love the poem...very heartfelt...*swoon*...there is a lucky girl out there gonna snag you up, boy. Just enjoy your single life now, because there is a lot of enjoyment without being in a relationship that helps your relationship once you find the right person. I don't mean date everyone you can either, I mean ENJOY being YOU.
The loyalty is the biggest thing to have as a base, so you are on the right track.

Older than i may seem. My days of frivolity are well behind me. And even they weren't all that frivolous
