As time ticks on, I feel a little go to waste
Always stuck in the same old place
Always searching for a different way
To break free from the same ole' same

I'm caught up in an amazing thing
And it directs these scenes
Flowing through me

Worlds apart and miles between
Where I am and want to be
As time fades by, I feel it go to waste

I’m chasing an amazing dream
It leads and I’m following
Where it takes me

So close, yet just beyond my reach
Sweet nothings chased with memories
As days go on, I feel a little shame
Always stuck in this same old place

Somewhere far away, life waits for me
To cut the ties and set my heartbeat free
To race and pace itself amidst a dream
Leading to me

I see out there it waits for me
To let loose and chase into the dream
