Why you think that I can speak and tell no lies
I don't get why you think that I should trust you
When the truth is always the last thing on your mind
I don't trust me
And you shouldn't either
There's just someing about me
That causes me to teeter
I stand on the edge of the fence
Not choosing any side to fall
Maybe, I'm just lost in ignorance
But, these words should say it all
I don't trust myself
So, why would you
I'm just a wicked little elf
And that's my simple truth
I always fight when I should run
And stay when I should go
I always give in when I should give up
And it's all I've ever known
So, yeah, no, I don't trust myself
And can't understand why you do
I know everything I've ever felt
But, I still know nothing about you
I don't trust me
So why would I trust you
I know who I am
And still don't believe my truth
I don't trust who I was
When it all fell away
I don't trust myself enough
To let go of the pain
I don't trust myself
So, why is it that you do?
I don't think any one truly
I don't think any one truly trusts anything... Time proves all... In the end none of it really matters. It only matters perhaps if you ever took that pure unadulterated risk? Good write my friend! ;) HugSS
