This heart has taken control of me
I can't control, how I feel inside
Such thoughts of what could not ever be
Course the channels in my mind

I used to have it all figured out, i think
Never let myself get so close to the brink
At least, that's how I remember things
I never let it take control of me

I used to have a master plan, it would seem
The way I wanted my life to be
Built upon my undying dreams
Of everything I wanted for me

But then you came along and

I never meant to fall

I tried my best to not want for you
Tried hard to suppress the truth
Because I knew it meant I would lose
The best thing that I ever knew
