I've been through everything I should have gone through
And so much more that no one ever should have to
I set my sights on love and nothing else would do
I tied up all my trust and gave it all to you

Now I'm here in a crossroads
Screaming at the skies
The clouds they grant furloughs
While I'm swimming in the lies
The sun hides in the shadows
And the fates ignore my cries
I only wanted something hallowed
Instead of wasted tries

When the lust in my eyes met the beat in my heart
You were the one I chose to tear it all apart
Now I'm here on my knees ending back at the start
I never dreamed this love would tear me down so far

Now I'm back here in this crossroads

Such a treacherous ride into the heart of truth
