As heartstrings sever at the seams
Whatever life and love may mean
There's always something in between
Let shadows fade and stars collide
Find solace in the dark of night
Face fear and stare into the light
While pain of love is burning bright
Take me out of this dimension
So I can show my true intentions
Leave silent things we need not mention
Be hollow, still, and left defenseless
Take away the tragedy
A glance, a touch, the remedy
The heart becomes the enemy
When broken by such sweet defeat
Yeah!
