The mask, a false exterior
Hiding a delicate interior,
Fragile frames of mind
Outlined by the face
In the mirror.
Seeming just slightly
Out of place
Yet leaving no trace,
No mark, no sensation
Of depression or joy.
Rippling surfaces distort,
Warping the images reflected,
Revealing that better left
Buried, forgotten, disposed of.
Merge the pictures
And create something new.
Sanity is all just
A point of view.

Sanity is only a ripple on the pond of life. No one is more sane or insane than anyone else. They just show how insane they are in different ways. I'm glad that you wrote this. Thank you again for seeing something that has lead to showing something. Check back later.
