I can only imagine the hell you saw,
The things you felt
For we all cope in are own way
So we must all feel destruction in are own way.
A wolf in the corner a sheep smeared all along the floor,
As brush strokes we all fall down.
I will never know how some keep their faith;
I am devoid of all things religious but see nothing wrong with the devoted,
Stupid songs all remind me of the same thing,
Stupid songs all speak in the same way.
My heart's beating in that same fast way,
I have been dreaming a lot about the girl in the woods,
However, no longer the same sweet place…
No, now it is a decrepit house!
From dream to night terror,

hmmn interesting I wonder if you would be interested in what
I got out of your poem... firstly that 'girl in the woods' line that translates to the name Sylvia and I cant help but think Plath... Non religious well thats how I would describe myself in some aspects as I dont follow the letter of the law I follow the spirit of the law. the example. I am aware it says beware of men who create their own religions... However,I do love tradition and ceremony which is a pleasure for me. I like the idea of concecration. The Wolf and the Lamb. The Good Shepard's job is to ensure balance and the safety of the flock... the lamb led to the slaughter by this misdirected do gooder 'christian sects?' (would it surprise you if I told you many faiths use this example?) that see only the letter of the law with an arachaic formula. I myself see that the world goes in cycles of complete anarchy to complete supression. we push the boundaries then slam them shut to reign them in. Thats why some of the bible is fearful stories. and then some of hope I prefer the new testament it is more livable however you cant ignore where it came from or its precursor, decrepit house my fathers house corrupt, the pharosies etc. I love the fact that I am accepted in the new testament as I am. I have something to work towards my nightmares are back to dream because of the peace I have found in validating everyone through Gods connection. We can not be separated from our relationship of existance or separate ourselves from the creator as we are also the creator living and re creating the creation. so the bible although simplistic in someways is very often metaphorical and not literal. I thouroughly enjoyed your take on the subject thanks so much for sharing. what a great read~ hunting for searching... very clever use even if all this is my view and totally diferent to yours.\

I always enjoy hearing what others see in my art. I actually did not mean anything about the name Sylvia I actually have been having dreams about a girl in the woods.
