We all thank you for your efforts
Bathed, as they were, in the blood
And in the body of Christ
and I personally will admit a certain fondness
for the civilisation you built…
on nothing more than mystery…miracles…lies
and on misogyny
It must be said, that it wasn’t all bad…at this distance…in hindsight
but now we need to move on!
Yes we must move on as
Yes we must move on as you say in this poem; and in so doing need lots of things civilization brings that helps us house, educate, medicate and make safe our security, and our souls; our souls are not to be without either. Just love your poem, you certainly make the reader think about a lot of aspects of life, with such a brief poem. Well written.
