I am no longer going to justify myself to you.

No longer will I make excuses to do what I want to.

If you do not like it than that is your problem,

not mine.

You don’t even look at me as a person do you?

I used to care,

I used to try so hard to win peoples affection.

But I got tired of constantly vying for people’s attention.

So I have had my fill of this.

My heart has been made hollow by that futile effort.

I have plugged the hole and am filling it with

my cares and desires.

To hell with who says

That is childish,

That is dumb,

What do you see in that?

Take your opinions and bury them in the ground

with your rotting heart.

I don’t need them or you!

It has often been said that you should never drive

a caring person to the point of giving up on caring.

Well congrats it has been done.

This is the result.

To those I do care nothing will change.

Everyone else,

I will show you the icy frozen

landscape that I have felt in my heart for years.
