Hey Mama,it looks as though the clouds

         are gonna rain today,

         just like they've done every

         year since you went away,

Hey Mama,the flowers round your grave

         look a little dry,

         it's alright I'll try to quench their

         thirst with the tears I cry,

Hey Mama,I'm just a little girl when

         I sit at your feet,

         and tell you about the things in my life

         that you didn't live to see,

         without you I try to get through

         just livin day to day,

         regretting all the things that

         I never got to say,

Hey Mama,I hope you know that

         I love you just the same,

         we both know that in our hearts

         there isn't any blame,

         hold the moments that we had

         hold them tight and never let them go,

         it's over,for me there's so many

         things I will never know,
