I HAVE KNOWN

I have known knowledge.

I have known the complexity of knowledge.

I have known the confusion, which breeds idiocy.

I known the smallness, which dared big heads not to cry.

I have known crying to be happy.

I have known eyes, which wouldn't allow the mouth to speak.

I have known languages, which were never meant to be known.

I have known the saints who thought they understood.

I have known the devil to pant from the heat, in pain.

I have known angels who died before they would fall.

I have known angels who were never angels at all.

I have known the security of too much.

I have known the betrayal of too many.

I have known circled suns that only wanted to be left alone.

I have known suns that cried out of loneliness; these were pretenders.

I have known a son who begged his parent's loyalty and called his mother a parent out of desperate ignorance.

I have known dinosaurs who forgot to be extinct.

I have known bones searching for a skeleton, bones that weren't known to desire anything at all.

I have known liars who sought the truth, and

I have known the truth to be something of a lie itself.

I enjoy your threads....not only can I relate, but I like your "style". You can define your thoughts with such precision! This particular thread holds strength and knowledge...powerful yet ambivalent...I dig the contrast and the personality...Thank you for sharing....
