"Wedding."
One of the most sacred words of the human vocabulary, or in this case, the English language, if you will... Awareness and expectations of it develop way before the capsule of time called "puberty" comes to pass, and they continue to grow stronger, unless certain circumstances stunt their growth, in the name of domestic violence, religious devotion, biological mischief, etc.
"Friendship."
One of the most essential components of any human existence, if not always, then at least for a significant period of time. For whatever happens afterwards would only count as a response to those experiences. Not merely "acquaintances", as those are only recognizable faces with misplaced names and histories. There are differences, differences that tend to be confused and substituted, amplified by any given list of friends of any Facebook account of your choosing... unless you have your identity set on a different server, then switch "Facebook" with "MySpace", or based on recent developments, "My_____". Friendship is more, much more, and if not much more, then at least much more complex... Complex and delicate, not so much different from a game of Jenga, ten minutes in.
"Education."
Some would equate that to attending to schools, taking bits out of books, and input bytes into the technological wonder of your choice; while others see it as any experience that would bring one insights, and if not insights, then at least knowledge. Or, if I were to really push it, education would be a tunnel during which you gain friendships, and as you move closer to the end of the tunnel, one of those friendships just might entice you to get on another train, travel over a bridge, and reach a stop named "wedding".
Well, as fate would have it, my education is in the process of making me unavailable to the wedding ceremony of one of my most beloved and valued friends.
Talk about collision course...
