I know I may be to you

Just a stranger

Another face in an adoring crowd

But if given the chance

I'd like to take that risk maybe

Be maybe

Just a little bit more

Maybe even someone

You could call friend

I am hopeful

And that's all I can be

For now

We are but a distant and lovely dream

Dream of what could be

Between heart and soul

Man and woman

Do the math

Pretty easy to figure

1 plus 1 could equal

Me and you

You're sexy, talented and hot

I won't lie

I'd like to get to know you

Oh so much better

In such lovely ways

Known only between friends

I ask nothing more then this

I don't dare

To overstep here

I'm just trying to 

Put pen to paper

To make clear

You are a rare dear

Winter is in my heart

And I like it alot

How the mere mention of your name

Lights me from within

In the coldest season

A smile from you

And my flower is in hothouse bloom

You are the sun and the moon

You are truth among a field of other's lies 

Opened my eyes

To ask if I may

Without seeming too bold and forward a fan

May we begin a friendship anew?
