Added in 2011 I am sitting here in this empty place,
My heart is broken my life erased
It’s like all I have done is now in vain,
Like I have wasted my love on a stupid game,
Time is fragile, it doesn’t come back,
And I gave mine away for something I lack,
Yet I still lack it and nothing has changed,
Except my sorrow is greater and my life; deranged,
How come we jump from these cliffs to our death?
We just make leaps of faith until nothings left,
I wish I was numb and my heart could be cold,
So hate couldn’t fill it and cause it to mold,
I love you but I hate you and its eating me inside,
So please just go quietly and leave me to die.

I am glad you liked it Lisa :) Would you rather I call you lisa or Raven_hair... oh how I love Raven_hair but Lisa is beautiful too. It is just that Ravens are so deeply a part of my life. I rehabilitate wildlife and have raised many beautiful and intelligent Ravens.. people just have no Idea how amazing they really are!
I thought you might like the mold verse he he.. its in such verses that I find an ounce of humor in all the pain. In many of my poems I try to add in something like that. Most of the time it is not humorous to readers because it is hidden so well but those clever few such as yourself seem to find them :)
