I lay here in the dark while the rain gently falls to the earth,

Gazing restlessly out the window I find no cure for the hurt,



I close my eyes ever hoping to see your perfect face,

But, Im tormented with mere fragments out of place,



The silence offer's a freedom for your voice to fill my mind,

Tears cloud my vision while I ache from deep inside,



I yearn to touch your skin and to feel you next to me,

I reach out for the strength to tell you but only hint timidly,



With so many miles between us there is nothing that I can do,

Except tell you how I miss you terribly and so completely love you.
