In your eyes the sunset shadows calm my fears

and the warmth you give fills up the emptiness here

I try to fight you off because I know what will be

but, Im powerless as you unchain the real person in me



The sweetest words ever spoke to me came from your lips,

My heart is helpless as my mind screams out in a fit

I don't want to run away but I don't want a love game

I have been here before and Id rather not play



I dont want to destroy what I cherish so much

and I dont want to miss one single tender touch

I dont want to push you or chase you away

I just really need to know what you mean by stay



If you just want to have someone to hold

I am ok with that I just need to know

Thats not what I want but I wont complain

I just really dont want to play another game.
