In the open but hidden,
Can you see me?
Smiling, laughing, joking,
Inside bleeding.
Can you see me?
Social butterfly everyone loves me,
Just leave me alone, Im lonely,
Can you see me?
Im breathing perfectly, so very alive,
Yet dying inside,
Can you see me?
Im tired of crying, of masking my pain,
You think you know but you dont,
This is me, and you can't see
Wow.. That was beautiful. Not in the sense of facial features or immense happiness, but beautiful in expression. I myself have often felt this way. Its as if people make up an image they want to be you. Never paying attention only seeing their thoughts, which makes up your reflection. (Hey that rhymes :-) what do ya know reading your poems just inspired me to write one of my own)
You always inspire thought in my mind. For that you are an amazing person as well as a gifted writer.

Very riviting-makes the reader pause and think about who you truly are-it is you don't want anyone to know or no one takes the time to explore the true beauty within you.
