I was drowning until he rescued me
Faded, too fucked up to see
You see, I'd given up is all
Carried that bottle, stumble, fall
It was my escape from a mask
Put on that happy face, no one will ask
But I was dying inside slow
Thought no one would know
But he saw right through
See cause he needed me too
Now I know he sleeps so far away
I hold onto my pillow waiting for the day
Before I close my eyes to sleep
I pray my soul is his to keep
I'll risk this again, why not
Hope is all I got
That soon I'll be in his arms
My heart's now unlocked, disarmed
For a boy who's so far away
He's in my heart, this love will stay
