I once thought I was unique
the things I'd think, the words I'd speak
A lonely soul adrift in this space
Without a home and without a place
A single being without a cause
not wanting to stop nor willing to pause
I wouldn't slow down to look around
but then I did and it was you I found
A perfect mirror image of me
Thought what I thought, see what I'd see
Hearts would beat at the same rate
Drawn together by destiny, befriended by fate
