Just trying to make some sense of it all,
Just wanting to leap before I fall,
See the world flash before my eyes,
I've earned this sweet demise,
I just wanted to see it before I go,
Just trying to comprehend these times,
Just making some hope within my mind,

Looking to what's ahead and what's been,
Just one thing that I do not know,
Why this pain? Why this ache again?
Why does time turn about? Why does my soul scream and shout?
Why this wait? Why this meaningless debate?
When comes the end? Why can't they just be friends?
Just trying to find some peace,
Just searching for that sweet release,
I need to run through the fields of thought,
Charge through everything I've caught,
And I'll suffer again,
Just trying to make amends,
Just searching to start things over again,
A gentle sigh from this tear stained face,
Voices weary, heartbeats race,
