things fall apart.

i wish that we didn't.

a mirror shatters into a thousand pieces,

all finding their way into my skin

whenever your face crosses my mind.

your two dimensional stare

could make my eyes bleed if i looked for too long.

lies you believed,

misunderstandings,

suspicion,

false judgments,

and my stupidity.

a conspiracy to kill us.

unfortunately, it succeeded.

and now we'll never be the same

because things fall apart.
