Who is God? Where did he come from?
Why is it when I ponder this thought
I am stunned?
The idea of a being greater than man
completely blows my mind
to think something or someone has
existed since the beginning of time
I never see God, and I am supposed
to believe
Well who else could have created
the grass and trees?
Only He could have created the
oceans and seas
Only He can give flight to the
birds and the bees
Who else could have created muscle
as complex as the human brain?
Or put nine planets in a solar frame?
Who is God? Where did he come from?
I guess when I meet him I will ask
these questions
It is definately true what the bible says, that God has revealed Himself to us through all of creation. (romans 1:20)
But however many questions we may have and all the answers we have yet to find... we can know who God is. God's only Son came to earth in the form of a man, called himself Jesus, died to redeem us back to God the Father. Jesus has made God known to us. He is the image of the invisible God. (John 1:18; Colossians 1:15)
It is always healthy to have questions... as long as we choose to trust God regardless of whether or not He gives us all the answers. There will always be something we don't know this side of heaven. (Proverbs 3:5&6)
BTW, this poem is great, and well-written :~)

I will ask him questions too when I meet him one day. I have a lot of questions too, I wonder what Heaven is like.
We all have questions sometimes right? Nicely done brotha.
