Father I ask that today

You walk ahead of me

so Your eyes can see

what I can't see

help me to control the

words that leave my lips

so I will not offend those

I come in contact with

for those who may try

to aggravate me today

I pray You give me the

strength to walk away

if there is someone in need

let me be the one to plant

that helping seed

bless all who are not

in good health

help me to think less

of myself

when I lay my head

down at night

I thank You Lord for

my spirit You hold tight
