hermit crab boardinghouses,

fractal-based trees;



your fires and ices,

insubstantial diamonds,

wisest pearls and beauties;



I'll cut them apart,

vivisect their dead remains,

burn out their inner ashes,



tear out their beating mysteries -

extract those sectrets and

see what lies beneath -



and then we'll have an answer for our pains.

Is that, then, not enough? Aren't these great gains?
