Love

Waking sunbeams

Cross her sight, cutting

Amber rays from fire.

Our eyes connect; I wonder

How such magic wished

For me.

Trading smiles and hands,

Our steps halt

In a state of ease,

Watching and waiting

For nothing.

I really do love your writing style. Well done. This is mostly amazing, all the rest is wonderful.

You're right; this is a charming little piece. One thing though, sir. It IS a poem whose title is "Love." Tsking at you hard.
