Then what did you do?

You went behind my back

Thought I was a fool



You told me you loved me

Before I went away

And told me you'd think of me

Each and every day



You told me you loved me

All you wanted was in my bed

You just wouldn't listen

You have too thick a head



You told me you loved me

Now I laugh when I recall

That you never really cared

About me at all



She told you she loved you

So you dropped me like a stone

Never stopping to think

You might end up alone



She told you she loved you

You gave into her charm

You cared way too much

Who clung to your arm



She told you she loved you

Just to get her way

I hope you're both satisfied

I have no more to say...



Except I love you means nothing

At least not from you

But I do hope you know

She is cheating on you
