Wanting life after life?
What horrible taste!
Is one life so meager
Is the void an ill fate?
If the stars themselves-
Celestial gods!
The first beings!
- collapse into nothing
How much lesser is man!
How much lower his runging!
And tell me now, truthful,
If it's death we're discussing,
If we share the fate of stars
Is that so unbecoming?
Thus us the best kind of
