What once was between us,
has now become less and less,
no physicality to us anymore,
its all about numbers, just numbers.
You phone number has increased by 10$/mth
and a bunch of codes that switch every 10$.
With your number increasing, you would think
that maybe we would continue to increase to be 1,
but sadly the only growing between us is distance,
for distance is the only true thing we share as one.
Distance can be measured in miles and also minutes,
minutes in life are like our phone calls, run out,
& with each minute lost, so grows the distance.
Being apart was not our calling, it has only
lead to learning experiences for you & me.
