Shocked to learn that the great, the leading, scholar of Ripperlore, pseudonymously known as the (Latinate) Ibidem, took his own life, you manage to acquire a copy of the mandatory note---its almost hysterical scrawl seeming to scream:  "I cannot keep going back---the warp is there, ready, beckoning---but how many times I have watched, unable to act, but able to enjoy---the anticipation---not worth it, now, not even for the superior knowledge . . . ."  His absence leaves the field to you, and his warning has not prepared you for the sudden yank you to the place and time of your expertise, 13 Miller Court, November 9, 1988, where you can feel a different kind of fascination, a warm surge in your groin, beginning to gather, to look forward to, the hideous and grisley death of the whore, Mary Kelly; such that your shrill, falsetto cry of "Oh, Murder" is not a plea for help.
