I love the desert wildflowers,
so beautiful I could stare for hours.
wait all year but you're there at last,
a little rain and you spring up so fast.
its like you spring up overnight,
in the morning you're oh so bright.
we can almost watch you grow,
with all the colors of a rainbow.
up high on a rocky Mountain,
through the cracks you come a sprouten.
in the valleys you grow so thick,
thats were the children love to pick.
every year you bring surprises,
with all your different shapes and sizes.
but just as fast as your birth,
you fade away into the earth.
