Waiting wishing wondering

PAPER PURSUIT

With like a sneer of built-up resentment,

She said we're gonna need to take a break,

And separate for as long as fate decides,

To reignite our fairytale once-upon-a-times,

Those which she has apparantly memorized

And is mesemrized by.

Waiting wishing wondering...

I kick about and cry my stupid eyes out

Beneath these stinking fucking bedsheets.

I am being eaten alive, bone by bone,

But I refuse to abandon hope---Ohhh!!!

I don't care if it takes me to the grave

Waiting wishing wondering...

This is the end of my life’s little lullaby.

The pistol is strong and heavy in my hand.

I am sorry to those who care, goodbye.

"Waiting, wishing, wondering"

"Waiting, wishing, wondering" such a powerful rift to riff off; the distinct absence of the called for commas bring a whole feel of meaning that otherwise grammatical/syntactical convention would smother. And the penchant for us humans to pin our existence to the behest of others is unfailing in every period of history. A truly gripping expression.
