I am indeed a walking contradiction.

And I have learned to accept things

as they are and not to argue with it;

the chopping of chicken in the kitchen,

the boiling of beef in cauldrons of oil,

for a few bucks here and there, why,

to feed the hungry hundreds of gluttons,

so that I can have a foot in the door

to show "success and triumph" toward

mother, financially, helping with rent.

Self reliance has its pitfalls, in our world.
