Where is Spring? Asked the Robin,
returning from Winter's plight.
Where is Spring? Asked the Sparrow,
I have had a really long flight.
Where is Spring? Asked the Swallow,
I was told it was here,I know it's right.
Where is Spring? Asked the Bald Eagle,
My new home here is simply regal.
Where is Spring? Asked the Ruby-Throated Humingbirds,
our trip was rough, believe our words.
Where is Spring? Asked the Loon,
I usually rest by the light of the moon.
Where is Spring? Asked the Oriole,
I am very territorial.
Where is Spring? Asked the Monarch Butterfly,
I have limited time and I just have to try.
Where is Spring? Asked the Mammals of the Sea,
We are heading North, further than you can see.
Where is Spring? Asked the Frog,
I need to hurry and find a good log.
Where is Spring? Asked the Plants,
Trees and Insects including some Ants.
Mother Nature is at her best,
with above all mentioned, plus the rest.
Signs of Spring comes many ways,
migrating Birds, Mammals and Fish, they say.
Hibernators, such as Bears,
leave their den to smell the air.
Insects, Reptiles, that hide in the ground,
come out for a great look around.
Those that stay and can adapt,
wonder and roam to prevent being trapped.
Ice and snow melts filling the waterways,
knowing Spring begins in March, not in May.
The days get longer and warmer,
some like warmer, others prefer the former.
Some People are called"Snow Birds" by friends.
They live South for the Winter and North 'til Summer's end.
Listen closely to Mother Nature,
her signs of Spring for sure.
Look, feel and small the air,
Because on March 20..........
Spring Is Here!
For the Northern part of the hemisphere.
The world is divided in two. (North and South)
By an imaginary line called the Equator.
So when it is Spring in the North for me.
It is Fall in the South for you.
Mother Nature is full of gifts to give.
They are given by God, so all shall live.
Springtime is to enjoy
all creatures great and small,
all flowers, plants and trees.
Listen to their music,
appreciate their colors,
They are all preparing their many gifts to offer...
Summer.
