Lips Full of Kisses

Walking toward my computer

I see a face of meticulous design,

Are the lips full of kisses?

Are they sincere? Are they mine?



Nearing my destination, I see

lines of words in uniform style.

Verses arranged in orderly fashion.

Emotions in this form reveals no smile.



You have a way to grace your page

with rhythm and dignity.

You know your subjects rather well

and expose them quite earnestly.

This is for all the concrete poets I have or have not visited. I admire your patience and ability to maintain form.

Some like it in structure, while others like it in unrestrained scattered patterns. Then again, there IS still order within chaos.
