Innerself Found

\

Hatred has diminished with time well spent.

Wishing for a wantonness love shines through.

A moment of peace shattered by the amorous scent

of a passerby.

Familiarity of such isn't new.

The dominant breed has lost out with a breach,

by the weaker gender so gentle and sublime.

Intimacy and discretion is a goal to reach.

Conquering emotions upon maturing time.

Forever the remembrance of such an encounter brew.

Length of passage on a starlit night.

Yearn for longing with just we two.

Hath many envious when within sight.

Words have been spoken for all to hear.

Of closeness within friendship that may somehow last.

So comrades beware for you know not fear.

I am me and I am liberated from guilt's of past.

One score plus it has been hidden from view.

Unleashed at last with justification retained.

Innocence of passion unexplained but true.

Love for living is born, never to be detained.

Yield and listen, be free to go

Through life's precious gate.

With opened heart and mind travel so.

Be me, me you.

Unburdened from hate.
