High School Love We lived together in a but a drip of time,
but we lived happily as it was an eternity.
I lived with you contently
until you decided to shun me off to the side
like leaves in the wind, and still
I waited on the ground while you rose
majestically to the size of tree.
While you rose I layed and watched
and hoped you would not forget that
I was there when you were but a seed,
I was there watching as you grew,
and Now I lay here hoping that you haven't forgotten.
Praying as the time flows in days and weeks,
now months and years that one day
you will look down upon me and Say
I remember you.
