I thought I was alone that day

In the Valley by myself

I saw the darkness grow stronger

In the Vally I didn't flinch

I saw figures appearing before me

In the vally I walked forward

I stood up strong to them

In the Vally they appeared



They tried to walk forward

Somehow I stoped them

They couldn't move that day

Somehow they were stunned

They saw how strong I was

Somehow it kept them at bay

They saw I wasn't scared

Somehow I wasn't



I walked strong that day

Even though I was weak

I walked in their face that day

Even thought they were stronger

I stood up to them

Even though I was outnumbered

I faught like a true soldier

Even though I really wasn't



I thought I was alone that day

Until I left the Valley

The darkness had faded

And the Light had appeared

It all became so clear

The reason I was so strong

I thought I was alone that day

But God was right beside me
