I like the blended reference to union -- of understanding, imagination, expression .. in short, the inner life, where true meeting always takes place .. the oneness. The comparison between the verbal art of poetry and the visual art of sculpture is a perfect example of the harmony you speak of; and both describe the poet and the person addressed. Truth, simply stated, in beautiful imagery. I love it!
