* Hate Being Judged *

             people never ever do under

            stand me they think less of me,

       cause i am a very succesful young lady

           people down grade me cause they

          believe that all women should move

          aside and let all of the real men

          ride, the train of personal gain .

       because i dont have what it takes to

     make it into this new human race. and that

    all women should be bound only to the kichen

    because that is where, we truly do belong to ,

    people put a label on me, because without the

    strength and power of my God. I would not be

   able to do the good job that i do every morning .

      * this poem is all mine *

Gail, hi, this is a great piece. I can well relate to it. Being 50, a mom and grandmother even more so. When my kids finally got to school age so I could go back to work,all I got with the attitude of being hooked to the kitchen as "not real work". Most men could not handle housework or raising of kids,they would fall flat because most don't have the organizational skills of a mom. Besides,they forgot what it was like growing up to have thier mending,meals,general care taken care of, it was expected and accepted. I know I had one funny situation with an arrogant guy at a job interview one time and it ticked me off so bad before I left I said to him: you were too young to remember your mother changing your diaper but someone had to do the "work" and I left. This is a great piece!
