grandparents are special

i have grandparents that live far away.

i have a grandma living close by.

one thing i don't have is a grandpa close by.

a certain police officer has turned into the grandpa i never had.

this man cares a lot.

he is so nice.

i actually trust him enough to go talk to him when i need to.

i am glad i got to know him.
