Once In A Lifetime

June 2002 Poetry There are some things in life,
that only happen once.
Like the feeling you get,
when you fall in love,
for the very first time.
Or the tingle,
that runs down your spine,
and the butterflies in your stomach,
when you get your first kiss.
But one thing I’ve found,
that can only happen once in a lifetime,
is finding the one you love,
with all your heart,
and soul.
The one you want to spend,
an eternity with.
That only happens,
once in a lifetime.
And my one time,
has already come around.
