big expensive things,
for me to know,
that you love me.
Just three words.
It’s as simple as that.

I don’t need,
an expensive fur coat,
to wrap around me,
when I’m cold.
Just your arms.
It’s as simple as that.

I don’t need,
candy and flowers,
on Valentine’s Day.
Just you,
and your touch.
It’s as simple as that.

I hope you agree with me,
when I say,
we don’t need anything,
but ourselves,
and each other.
