The Colors Of The Rainbow

Folder:
April 2002 Poetry

Red is the passion,

that burns in our souls,

forever unfolding,

stories untold.

~

Blue is an ocean,

an ocean of love.

Sent here from heaven,

like Angels above.

~

White is so pure,

a love so true.

The love we share,

just me and you.

~

Green is the grass,

in the field we lay.

Watching the clouds,

pass and drift away.

~

Yellow is the sun,

that shines above.

But not as bright,

or warm as our love.

~

This rainbow we’ve made,

is not hard to find.

It’s in the sky of our love,

A love that’s one of a kind.

The colors of the rainbow shows a different way to look at the colors of rainbows and the colors we are surrounded by all day.
