Out of the darkness,

and into the light.

My body is shaking,

in the cold air of the night.

Lend me your hand,

please help guide my way.

For without your gentle touch,

I wouldn't get through the day.

Stand by my side,

take my hand.

We'll walk together,

in the warm beach sand.

I need you here with me,

and I need you here now.

I want to tell you these words,

but I'm not quite sure how.

~

So take my hand,

we'll watch the birds.

Because just being here with you,

is worth more than words.
